That aid other organisations to network, disseminate environmental and social justice information, as well as assist communities and individuals create their own organisations. CNF runs organisational development, issue-based training, leadership, and life skill camps and workshops. In addition, overseeing a community-to-community exchange programme.
CNF has been in existence for many years taking many forms and shapes. It was formed in 1993 as the Youth Development Project (YDP). YDP was formed as a reaction to the political, social and economic conditions of that time. The main objectives of the YDP were to try to revive the spirit of Ubuntu and equip the youth with the necessary tools to rebuild the their communities.
