Peoples Earth Decade began by using the opportunity provided by the World Summit to highlight positive solutions to our environmental crisis. The process and its outcomes are being used to encourage cross-sector collaboration linking together twelve broad areas of work.

Peoples Earth Decade has evolved following the success of the Peoples Earth Summit meetings in Johannesburg. PED aims to create a global network of people working to promote sustainable ways of living and committing themselves to a decade of Earth Justice.

The Peoples Earth Decade is an entity owned by its participants, built from the contributions of individuals and groups worldwide. To help fulfil the vision, get involved:
